Who we are

Deploy Joy Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice at jasmine.ashley@deployjoy.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, organisation and whatever you choose to put in the message. We use it to reply to you and, if the conversation goes further, to scope and deliver the work. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has approached us, and performance of a contract once we are working together.

Website analytics. IONOS SiteAnalytics records your IP address, browser, the pages you visit and where you arrived from, so we can see which pages are read. These are non-essential cookies and run only if you accept them in the banner. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings on this site.

Making the site work. A small number of cookies are needed for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Giving us your details is optional. Without them we simply cannot reply.

Who we share it with

IONOS, who host this website, provide our email and run its analytics. Our accountant, for invoicing records. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Where a supplier processes data outside the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work: 12 months. Client records, contracts and correspondence: six years after the engagement ends, to match our accounting and limitation obligations. Website analytics: held only within IONOS SiteAnalytics and deleted on that tool's retention schedule; we do not export or keep a separate copy.

Client data in Salesforce

When we work inside a client's Salesforce org we may see personal data belonging to that client's customers, staff or supporters. For that data the client is the controller and we act as their processor, working only on their documented instructions and under a written data processing agreement. We do not use it for our own purposes, and we do not retain copies once an engagement ends.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our using it, or send it to another provider. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. We do not make decisions about you by automated means. Email jasmine.ashley@deployjoy.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at jasmine.ashley@deployjoy.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days. If you are still unhappy you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, on 0303 123 1113, or at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.

Changes
